Dr. Kenneth C. Lomax, founder/CEO
Dr. Lomax is the Executive Director for Continuous
Improvement Ministries. The focus of this group of ministry professionals is on
general organizational improvement for churches and religious non-profit
organizations. Ken has more than thirty five years of experience in general
organizational improvement including Total Quality Management, Quality
Assurance and overall Business Improvement Management. Twenty of those years
have been spent as a consultant providing organizational improvement services
for manufacturing, service, government, high-tech related industries as well as
churches and nonprofit organizations. For the past few years Ken and his
ministry team have worked with many churches in recognizing and accepting the
need to continuously change and improve. His efforts include; long-range
planning, process development, church assessments, ministry surveys,
employee/member involvement, leadership training/development, and managing the
change process. He also leads seminars that help the members, volunteers and
church leaders.
Education
and Certifications: Ken holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Quality
Engineering, a Master of Science in Business Administration, and a Doctorate in
Business Administration with a focus on Organizational Improvement. He lectures
often, has authored several papers on quality and has co-authored a book with
Dr. H. James Harrington entitled, "Performance Improvement Methods - Fighting
the War on Waste" McGraw-Hill 1999. He was licensed as a U.S. Coast Guard
Captain and was one of the first individuals in the United States to become a
commercially licensed, multi-engine hovercraft pilot. He is also an ordained
deacon.
Previous Experience: After leaving the U. S. Air Force
in 1975, Ken was a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer on the Trans-Alaska
Pipeline. Later, while working for ARCO Oil and Gas Co. as their Senior Quality
Assurance Coordinator, he designed the quality process for ARCO's Kuparuk Oil
Field, located on the North Slope of Alaska. Prior to starting his own
consulting firm he was an executive for one of the world's largest consulting
firms, Ernst & Young, LLP and specialized in leadership development and
process improvement.
Professional
Affiliations: Ken is a member of several professional organizations and is
a Life Member of the National Registry of Who's Who, 2001 edition.

Dr. Robert D. Lewis, Senior Consultant
Dr. Robert (Bob) Lewis serves in the position as
the Director of Ministry Services for Continuous Improvement Ministries
(CIM). The focus of this group of ministry professionals includes
general organizational improvement for churches and non profit organizations.
In addition to his other duties, Bob fulfills the webmaster role as he
maintains the CIM web site (http://www.ciministries.net). He is the full-time
Director of Missions for the Sacramento Association of Southern Baptist
Churches and serves as President of Mission Mobilization for New Life
Marketplace Ministries, Inc. He also serves as an Adjunct Professor in the
Adult Degree Completion program of William Jessup University, Rocklin,
CA.
Education and Certifications: Bob holds a Bachelor of Arts
degree, a Master of Theology degree and a Doctor of Ministry degree. He is
certified to teach Lab I in Basic Communication and Neuro-Linguistic Techniques
from L.E.A.D. Consultants, Inc., Reynoldsburg, Ohio, and to administer several
personality profiles.
Previous Experience: Dr. Lewis joined
CIM in September 1997 and brings non-profit and
church/denominational experience to the organization. He has served as the
senior pastor for several different churches and as the Associate Director of
Evangelism for the California Southern Baptist Convention. In addition, Bob has
directed regional training schools and seminars and has served on boards from
credit unions to private organizations. Bob has also served Golden Gate
Seminary, Mill Valley, California as an adjunct professor of Supervised
Ministry and served on committees that review Doctor of Ministry candidates'
project proposals, project dissertation/reports and orals.

Associations: Bob has been a member of the Association of Quality and
Participation (AQP), and is included in several "Who's Who" publications,
including Who's Who Among International Professionals, Who's Who in Religion,
and Who's Who in Schools and Colleges.
